Christina Savvaki was born in Florina, Greece, in 1993. She studied drawing and painting at the workshop of F.S.F. «Aristotelis» in Florina and at the «R2art» workshop in Thessaloniki. Her artistic development took on an academic character with her admission to the Department of Fine and Applied Arts – School of Fine Arts, University of Western Macedonia, Florina, completing her five-year studies in 2016 with "Excellent" honors from the workshop of Ioannis Ziogas. During her studies, she undertook an internship at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Florina, where she continued as a volunteer, and since 2017 she has been a member of its Board of Directors. From the early years of her academic path to the present, she has held solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions, biennales and art festivals in Greece and internationally. Her work has received wide recognition, notably, her work was selected for "The Three Dimensional Flower #McQueenCreators" by the fashion house Alexander McQueen, and the selection of her proposal in a call by the Hellenic Chamber of Fine Arts for the adornment of public spaces. She has also been invited to and participated in art symposia in Greece and internationally "Days of Mio" in Korce in 2022 representing Greece, Painting Symposium in Patra, a tribute to the writer Alki Zei, in 2023 and 1st Balkan Art Prespa Festival Symposium in Florina in 2024. Her works grace private and public collections, the most notable being those of the Hellenic Embassy in Madrid and the former President of the Hellenic Republic, K. Sakellaropoulou, while she was particularly honored with the invitation from M.Vernicos and D.Tsertsidis for donation of a work to Creaid Hellas for charitable purposes. Continuing her artistic activity, she is an active member of the Hellenic Chamber of Fine Arts and simultaneously develops curatorial projects and contributing to the organization of exhibitions and artistic initiatives.
